On the needles: a new design, my first in multiple sizes (eek!), so it's been a challenge! But one of my goals for this year is to push myself beyond what I can already do. So here goes!
And I'm reading.... you all are going to get a good laugh here.... Making the "Terrible" Twos Terrific:) I'm about to have three children, but my oldest is just two, so I'm still very much a newbie. This book is quite reassuring because it's helped me understand what is normal and expected behavior for this age, and what behaviors we may just have to wait to change until he matures. Plus, the author puts the rages and irrationalities of the two year old in humorous terms; it really helps in those trying moments!
Can't wait to check out everyone else's current reads and projects today!

I find it fascinating that you design patterns to knit. What a wonderful thing to
be able to do. I love the two, but I must say that age three is my favorite. Three two and under? My first three were each 21 months apart, then I had a little break and had two more. I loved it and wish I could have had more.
Warmly,
Tracey

Your pattern looks interesting! The twos definately are interesting...my oldest daughter (now 5) barely had a blip...my son is 2.5 now and it feels like he has been held hostage by the age for years...we muddle through but there are certainly many trying moments, but lots of love stuffed in there too!

I used to work in a child care center, the 2 year olds were my favorite! So much fun! I definitely came home tired at the end of the day though, 12 2yos at once will do that to a person!

Love your wool! I'm always excited to hear about pattern design - it sounds totally daunting to me!
Enjoy your book and the twos! The busyness when everyone is small at the same time is hard but the closeness is especially fun to watch as they get a bit older!
