I finished this shawl in the early morning with both babies still asleep and a thundershower and cup of coffee to keep me company. It was bliss:)
The pattern is the Aestlight Shawl, by Gudrun Johnston, and a fun knit. Not a quick one however (this one was started before Christmas), with rows of lace and edging patterns to keep track of. But it's complete now and perfect for cool summer nights (here's hoping we have a few of those left.
This almost wraps up the selfish knitting around here; I've got one more work-in-progress that's almost finished. I felt a need to finish some started projects before moving on to some gift knitting so I can really enjoy it with a clean crafting conscience!
(Someone asked about the yarn in a previous post: it's Koigu Painter's Palette Premium Merino in two different colorways.)
Gorgeous! I loved knitting the edging, such a good pattern.

That is beautiful - when you do selfish knitting you certainly do it with style! :D
