tweedy tea leaves It's finished, and I love it! The Tea Leaves Cardigan in Rowan Felted Tweed made a light and airy wool sweater perfect for spring and fall. And, a pattern for a tiny version was just released, so I feel the little girl and I will be matching soon. The yarn is a little thinner weight than what the pattern calls for, so the resulting fabric isn't as dense as most wool sweaters; which suits my over-heated nursing body perfectly! It kept me warm on a ferry ride across Lake Superior, and I'm hoping for some more chances to wear it...

at the weekend We did a little relaxing, a little baking, and then a little celebrating of a special aunt's birthday. Strawberries are in season, and we are making the most of them! What are you enjoying as summer begins?
