My creative time recently has been focused on sweaters, and shawls, and baby blankets, and quilts, and maternity clothes. But I find that as winter winds down and we are anxious for spring, I need smaller, and shorter projects to give me that completed sense of satisfaction. So, this March, I will be focusing on creating all the little things I normally overlook: baby booties, hats, fingerless mitts, wristwarmers, toys, household goodies. Each Tuesday, please visit me here for some small creating inspiration, and perhaps some new free patterns. Would you like to join me? I will have a place for you to link up your creations next Tuesday. In the meantime, the Spring 2011 issue of Ryhthm of the Home is out today!
This week, I've got a new knitting pattern up in it. The perfect little pattern, you can make a pair in an evening. Check it out, and I'd love to see any finished objects.
Meet me back here next Tuesday for some little finished objects, and to add yours to the list!
How wonderful! It looks great! I may post a link to this on my blog :)

The wristwarmers arrived--on St. Patrick's Day; how perfect! And packaged so prettily. It was just the lift I was needing right now. Thank you so so much.
I blogged it briefly here (http://inthepurplehouse.blogspot.com/2011/03/green.html)--sorry for the inadequate post and poor photo; it's been a rough week here. And I promise I'll wear them with something more appropriate than my old green sweater! I just couldn't wait to take a picture! :-)
