Last Saturday I prayed fervently my kids would nap a full two hours, and sat down at my sewing machine to attempt a little dress. Earlier in the morning I hit a great sale at Joann's, and got a few $15 vintage patterns for $1 each. This dress is from Simplicity 2629, and it came together so sweetly.
It's a simple dress, with tucks on the front and back, and a little lace edging at the neck. It was made to match my newest knitting pattern, the Heartwarmer, which will be available soon.
And my little model did not disappoint!
Here's a view of the Heartwarmer sans baby so you can see how the ends attach to the back of the shawl to keep it secure during play:
The pattern is coming soon, in a baby and toddler size; just as soon as it's finished being test knit!
What a sweet little dress and the model is so cute.

Cute! I love vintage clothes on babies and I love that heartwarmer so much. Oh I hope I have a girl one day!
